California Almond Cake

16 oz almond paste
1 cup unsalted butter
11/2 cup sugar
6 eggs
1 Tablespoon zest of lemon
¼ cup Gran Marnier
½ cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder

Combine sugar butter and almond paste. Add eggs one at a time. Fold in zest, Gran Marnier, flour and baking powder.

Pour into individual cups.

Bake 350 F or 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes

Remove from cups and top with crème fraiche or ice cream and fresh strawberries in Gran Marnier simple syrup
